We hear all the time about how retailers should be cultivating customer loyalty. We share tips, strategies, case studies, and even teach entire courses on the subject.
But how often do we look at the results of building customer loyalty?
At Statflo, we're all about building customer relationships. We're rather partial to our motto: "Making customer love."
When you show your customers love, you're guaranteed to have some come back your way. The most successful relationships are two-way streets, after all.
Let's take a look at some hard working sales reps in the wireless industry, and just how much their customers appreciate them.
Coffee, donuts, hand-written cards, and even hand-made baby blankets. These are customers who really feel valued, and wanted to share that feeling with their problem-solving reps.
Customers who stick around for 7, 13, even 14 years!
When we say "keep your customers for life", this is exactly what we're talking about.
Building meaningful customer relationships means your customers are connecting with you, not the business itself. It benefits both sides in the long run.
In fact, it is not uncommon for customers to follow their retail reps if they end up finding employment somewhere else.
That's true customer loyalty.
And in the wireless retail industry, where customer churn is ridiculously high, it's even more crucial.
So stop selling, and start solving. Earn your customers' trust and you'll be rewarded greatly down the road.
And, of course, it doesn't hurt to get some free coffee and donuts along the way.
