And Diamond Wireless appears to be playing a major role in turning those frowns upside down.

Founded in 1999 from Salt Lake City, Utah, Diamond Wireless is a Verizon Premium Retailer that has rapidly grown to become one of the largest Verizon Wireless dealers in the US.

And with reviews like these, it's easy to see why.

Sure, the store was technically supposed to be closed by the time Chris arrived but, it's 2016.

To stand out from your intense competition, you need to operate on your customer's clock as much as possible. Conner made himself available to meet Chris' specific needs.

Lesson learned: Be flexible, adaptable, approachable. If you make yourself available for your customers, they'll happily make their wallets available to you.

There was one common trend found in each of these reviews. Did you catch it?

Patience.

When it comes to tech like phones and tablets, many are shy or embarrassed to admit that they don't know much about it. Often to the point of refusing to ask for help.

Alicia showed great patience and care with each of her customers, making them feel comfortable enough to ask for some guidance.

She had the opportunity to display her knowledge and expertise, and did so in a way that didn't intimidate the customer.

Lesson learned: Be patient in all of your dealings. It's a quality that is oh so rare in this era of short attention spans and hectic, rushed lifestyles. If you can cultivate genuine patience, you'll have no problem standing out from your competition.

Francis came into Diamond Wireless with a problem. One that, if solved, wouldn't really benefit Diamond Wireless financially.

That is, of course, if you have a narrow viewpoint on customer service.

Ryan did his best to solve this unique issue. It took some time, but he managed to fix it for Francis.

End of transaction.

Thing is, while Francis didn't pay for this warranty-covered service, he was thoroughly impressed by the way Ryan handled the situation.

So much so that he plans to come back to Diamond Wireless when it comes time to buy his next phone.

That, kids, is how you gain customers for life.

Lesson learned: Stop focusing on the dollars. Look at your customers as human beings first and foremost. Focus on the needs of your customer and how to meet them. The money will follow. Trust me.
